About Mathilde's Virtual Services

Personally

Multiculturalism has always been part of my life and identity. Born in France to an Argentinian mother and Danish father and raised in Switzerland, different languages and cultures were part of my everyday life. The desire to travel was something I was born with. After an exchange year in Australia, I was hooked on discovering the world, especially as a backpacker.

After leaving school, I followed my love of travel and adventure. I returned to Australia for extended periods, worked in Argentina and Fuerteventura and studied Danish in Denmark. Later I travelled around the world in several stages.

I’m an optimist by nature with a can-do attitude. I like to tackle things and see challenges as opportunities.

Besides travelling, I am passionate about wine, snowboarding, hiking and cats. As a people person, I like to share my free time with others.

Professionally

After graduating from commercial school, I attended the Hotel Management College in Thun, Switzerland, and gained extensive experience in the hospitality industry. I worked in various hotels and restaurants as an assistant manager and team leader.

I later moved into Human Resources Management and completed various training courses. My professional experience in this field includes several years in the shipping industry. Nautical operations, personnel planning, administration, recruitment, personnel development and organizational activities were part of my daily business.

After my three-year trip around the world, I worked as a personnel consultant, assisting job seekers with all HR issues and developing reintegration strategies.

In early 2022, I decided to start my own business and live as a digital nomad – a new adventure that combines my professional and personal passions.

My mission is to provide hands-on support to companies by acting as a virtual workforce for any tasks they need assistance with.

What characterizes me?

My curiosity drives me to learn and discover new things. I am an enthusiastic process optimizer and work in a goal-oriented and structured way. I am a networked thinker, quick to recognize correlations and find innovative solutions.
